Review: NYX single eyeshadow - Oro, Dune & Beauty Queen

Hola girls! Greeting from me. Today's review is about the NYX single eyeshadows in Oro, Dune and Beauty Queen. I purchased mine at Beauty Bay at Sharjah City Center for AED 20 each. There was a 25% sale going on, so that was nice. First of, Beauty Bay is AMAZING. The staff there is sooo helpful. They didn't get tired of my continues swatching. They are just very cooperative.

Now back to the review. Oro came with 2.7 grams of product, Dune & Beauty Queen weighs 2.5 grams. Strange, I know. (o.O) These are some amazing shadows. They are pretty creamy, there is very little or almost no fall out. The pigmentation is GREAT. With just one swipe you get good amount of product on your finger.

Oro : It's a goldenish-greenish shade. It's veryyy pretty. It's more on the golden side. It is not the in-your-face kind of gold, that people usually wear on big occasions. It's a subtle golden shade that can be worn during daytime and looks very flattering. It's not filled with shimmer/glitter but still leaves such a beautiful sheen. There is almost no fall out with this.

Dune : It's a silverish-grey shade, a grey shade with silver sheen. It has pieces of shimmer/glitter. The shimmer does get here and there a little bit,but that isn't such a big issue. It is very pigmented. It is my favorite for a smokey eye look.

Beauty Queen : It's a berry-burgundy shade with golden shimmer. It's a beautiful shade. Not my favourite though but very pretty for days when I want to have a unique smokey look with it. You are sure to get compliments on this shade.

Oro, Beauty Queen and Dune - so pigmented, this is just one swipe.
From this angle you can see the golden glitter in Beauty Queen and silver shimmer in Dune.

This is with flash. Oro looks more golden with a flash.

These shades last pretty long during the day, even more when used with a primer. Although I suggest to use them with primer always, it's good to be sure right that the effort you put in the makeup will last longer. Unlike Urban Decay or MAC shadows, where a little goes a long way, you need to pick up a little more in the brush with these NYX shadows. But all in all they are worth it. TOTALLY! Go and pick them up, you won't regret.

Have a great day. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for reading. Ciao!
